  The Ministry of Information and Communication, the government organ which in charge of the Telecommunications policies,radio management,broadcasting,postal service, and postal banking service, has planned integrated and systematic policy to facilitate the information society and to develop the information and communications industry.

The ministry is also propelling to strengthen the national competitiveness through research and development of the core information technology and assistance of overseas telecommunications operations as well as the encouragement of the use of radio frequencies,etc.
Meanwhile, the post office, which is the foremost access for the public to meet the customer's needs in the field of postal service, makes it a major role of service for public benefit to accept postal items and deliver them and offer the postal banking service as well.

Information Planning Office General coordination of informatization promotion policies, support of sector-specific information plans, establishment of the KII, ensuring information security
Information & Communcations Policy Bureau General coordination of information & Communcations policies, supporting & fostering growth of information & communications firms, development of information and communications technology
Telecommunication Business Promotion Bureau Licensing of telecommunications service providers, promotion of telecommunications facilities construction business, promotion of telecommunications services business
International cooperation Bureau Establishing information & communications-related trade policies, engaging in trade negotiations, participating in international organizations, supporting advancement into overseas markets
Radio & broadcasting Bureau Establishment of radio & broadcasting policies, improvement of conditions for radio frequency utilization, management of radio spectrum and space telecommunications policies
Posts Bureau Establishing basic postal policies and postal rates, promoting sales activities, ensuring safe management of post & parcels, issuing postage stamps, executing other matters relating to the postal services business
